ROAD CLOSURES

ISLAND ROADS

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Quay Lane, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 2 2020 – Quay Lane be closed for its entire length. There is no alternative route.

The Isle of Wight Council (High Street, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2020 – High Street be closed for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

The Isle of Wight Council (Upper Road, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 5 2020 – Upper Road will be closed between Main Road and Bullys Hill. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

The Isle of Wight Council (Lower Road, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 8 2020 – Lower Road will be closed between Golf Links Road and The Mall. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - Quay Lane Brading

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Quay Lane from its junction with High Street to the end of the public highway for a distance of 709 metres. Installation of Wightfibre ducting for service and trunk supplies.

DIVERSION ROUTE(S): There is no diversion route, however access to properties will be maintained though a short delay should be expected

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 08:00 hours on 15th August 2020, for a maximum period of five days
